It is a bit depressing, which also means that it is well done. The scorpion is a creepy detail. Also the foreground sand looks very good. The leaves on the trees are a bit wrong, but this could also symbolise hope. Perhaps the mountains in the background would look better if the terrains were higher resolution.

It may only be because I like deserts and ravens, but this is good! The sky looks great. The modeling, and texturing are well done. The grave visible through the gate is particularly well modeled. I think the gate could be a little more complex, but then again you might have been going for simplicity. One question, If it is a hot, and barren desert, how are the tree leaves so green? Other than that this is really good!
