Vortex
This started as an attempt to simulate a hurricane, that failed spectacularly. Though It caused me to begin experimenting with toruses and volumetrics. I ended up with 2 spheres, one torus, and one radial. Rendered at 36 RPP.

Bright, warm, and yet cool as it appear almost like the surface of water.

Well, it isn't a huricane but it pulls me into this one nevertheless. Nice colours. It could be some sort of lens, too. Good work,. Keep it up.
