Thank you for the comments, both kind and critical. With regard to Richter's observation, I can create stains etc. in the Bryce app; but on consideration (and I am certainly no expert on things astronomical) I came to the conclusion that stains and rust were not highly likely on an orbiter which is in the vacuum of space with no oxygen, which is a requirement for oxidation. Maybe meteor fragment dents? Suggestions appreciated.. ??
Very good blend between the photo and the bryce model. If only there was some postwork of rust, stains, the so-called imperfection. You could use different 2d textures and the overlay or multiply blending modes in photoshop to achieve that.
Very good image! Nice lightning and background setup. I wish I could create such a nice models some day:).
Really nice modeling job and texturing. The background looks amazing (NASA seems to do that a lot).
I like how the lighting shows the rich interior of the LORS model. You've selected a very fitting background picture. It all looks very plausible. Perhaps the LORS could do with a bit of space left and right. It looks pressed into the picture frame.
