A Slice of Chocolate Heaven...

Made with Bryce

Salute to the Month of Chocolate Lovers. Nothing better than a slice of chocolate heaven on a silver plate with a steamy hot mug of java to wash it down. Material here: Bryce Car Paint by Ritcher used in both the plate and mug.

Reply to richter Sorry about the delay in getting back to you... The strawberries are supposed to look like it has been chocolate dipped. So I guess I didn't do so great a job in rendering it. I'll have to try to do better, next time I try for dipped anything, food wise.

That's a fine example that the car paint has more uses then just on automobile models. I'm glad it worked for you. That slice of cake looks very delicious, which speaks of how successful you were creating this image. The java appears hot, the steam adds this nice dynamic hotness feature. And how can I miss the ground material. Nice choice for a texture there. Only the strawberries seem a bit strange with that darkening in the texture towards the tip.

Again very nicely done, and this time, I think that's not a resized render. It looks well focused and sharp. The steam looks quite good. Richter's carpaint was obviously a very nice choice. Next step, render with soft shadows. This will give you ample time to get yourself a chocolate cake and a java ;)

The Java looks amazing! The entire scene is wonderful. It is very challengin to produce breads in Bryce, with all of the little holes in bread after it rises. Keep it up!
