The chess figures are from DAZ3D, the board was made with cubes. Lit with the specular convolved Gossiping HDRI and rendered with Bryce 7 beta in a bit over 30 hours.

Hmm. So specular convolution is a fancy way of saying that the background hdri has been blurred, but the overall brightness has not been affected? Seems to me this could be very useful for many situations. In fact, it seems like a great way to get the benefits of IBL without the IBL drawing such attention to itself. Thanks for this experiment.
Thank you, connor. Bryce 7 better? Not yet, but it will be a quantum leap when it hits the stores. Not all we wished for, but a nice bunch of it nevertheless.
I love the reflection on the clear bishop. Don't really know what to say besides, amazing. Nice logo placement, as always. Is Bryce 7 noticeably better than 6?
