Dimensions
The background is an HDRI I made from David Brinnen's artwork Dungeon Dimensions. It is rendered as background but it is not responsible for the light. The light comes from the same HDRI which is dimensionless (a singularity) within the sphere at the world centre. The light is cast outwards, not inwards. This is an option available in a Bryce 7 beta version.

From dungeons to singularities, Discworld to StarTrek, light from the inside, from images on the outside. It is all topsy turvy! Too much to get my head around. I like it, of course, great image contrast and good & subtle use of materials.
