A conversation around the artwork

about the post-work.. I forgot to say "I" resort to it most of the time... now that I re-read the comment. Sorry for the small misunderstanding.

Not every day can one see such a realistic rocky foreground. Some of them rocks do pop-up more then expected though, they look a bit more gray then the terrain. Nothing that cannot be fixed, right?.. As a man, who relies on post-work most of the time, with a little tweaking you could manage to re-create the needed distortion with a filter/plug-in in PSP.

Ah, the bug on Mars. Well, connorzelinsky says something I partly agree with and partly not. Instead of using a fire or engine glow, stirred air (hot air) would be a nice addition. There was some discussion about how to do a ghost in Bryce over at a DAZ forum some time ago. Something unseen but only visible by a distortion of the background by looking through it. Like looking through a hot exhaust.

Somehow I didn't see this one. It looks veyr good, however some engine glow could be added. Landscape is very well done and the simple sky works well with it.
