Hallway
Bob Bello on Sci-Fi Almanac asked me to do a picture for a story he is writing. This is what I have so far. Took the hallway I made a while ago and added some modern soldiers instead of replicator bugs. I raised the lights on the wall so the are just above the lines instead of over them. I also framed the door in a black medal and remodeled the lever. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

So far so good. The lighting doesn't convince me here. The pose of the soldier coming from the dark is very good looking. The other one, however, looks wrong. The corridor is empty, no need to hold the gun that way and particularly not pointing it in the general direction of his buddy.
My suggestions: -Add visible lightcones to gun barrels to act as "Tactical flashlights" - make some sophisticated-looking panels with terrain editor and plant them on the walls and ceiling. -make some dirt&rubble with terrains and plant them in the wall/floor corner -turn ceiling lights into visible lightcones, and reduce range of wall lights to some 1-2 metres ...And give them bigger guns ;)
Thanks! Ya, I spent a long time on that pose, and I really wanted to use it, but you are probably correct. He could just be jumpy, exploring somewhere and turned to talk to is buddy.....
Looking good Connor! I find the scene to be very plausible generally. There is an oddity in that it seems he has his gun drawn but it is pointing at nothing, just the wall from what I can tell.
