Ghost City (Bryce 7 pro)
A combination of the rotting city from this, http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=11175 and a sky from this http://www.daz3d.com/i/shop/itemdetails/?item=11218 which might be considered cheating, but please consider I made them both. The main aim was to see what kind of overhead a combination would result in, good news and bad news. A rendering bug cost me a day getting this scene to render, eventually tracking the fault down to some aspect of the sky - a very weird bug. The actual render time was just under an hour on my i7. So yes, quite demanding. Now all I have to do is figure out how to spell apocalyptic - thank you Microsoft!

wow. Great artwork..... and a wonderful light.
Thank you! Horo and Anurin. Yes, I'm a big fan of Fallout 3, although I recognise I will never have sufficent free time to do the game justice and it is far too easy compaired with say STALKER. The graphical style is excellent - my only complaint is that everything the graphics engine produces is a bit too shiny/speculative.
eerie, dark, and in my opinion reminiscent of Fallout 3. Good work.
When I first saw this one in the DAZ gallery, I wondered who used your products to get such a picture. Now I know it's you. The sky fits exceptionally well to the city ruins. The bits in the sea at lower left are a nice detail. Perhaps adding some light rays shining through the openining in the clouds onto the bright roofs would have made it kitschy.
