I must confess, that i took rain texture from standart bryce texture library.
Rain - not the easiest thing to start with. It's difficult to make it look real. It's even difficult to get it right in a photograph. Water is transparent, and that's part of the problem to make it visible.
Good work on the rain effect, that is ever a challenge. Maybe time to update your images in Bryce 7?
