Ice World - Nice Day
First, started with David's B7_0_1_26p2_S1_V2.br7 scene with Vol clouds. 2) deleted the terrain(feeling guilty as I did), 3) imported the Sand Dune by Bijan, 4)added the Backyard Pool material to the terrain, 5)added the Standard Daylight Sky preset, 6) adjusted the terrain height...rotated to get the current scene, 7) adjusted sun height.

vol clouds vs hdrs Thanks, glad you like it. Sorry about your eyes! =( What makes my eyes cross is trying to focus on the clouds, especially on the right side....looks like 2 images out of register...am I too close to the slab? I'll review David's video tut on the Vol Clouds again to get a better understanding. Also want to try using an HDR, but not sure how it works for a sky....project an spherical HDR of clouds on the inside of a hemi-sphere?
Nice reflections on the ice. The purple colour of the sky hurts my eyes a bit. Nice cloud, though. It reminds me of the North America Nebula (NGC 7000 or Caldwell 20) in the constellation Cygnus.
