Metallica 1
I know the sky is garishly generic, but I like the reflections on the metallic surface. Here is a simple animation

Since you are playing with reflections, try some HDRIs. They don't need to be hi-res. Anurin's suggestion of a black sky (with glowing orange clouds) sounds interesting. Certainly worth a try.
"blackened" .....you mean like darker? Will give it a try. "puns"....are fun. =) "Good image"......thanks. More to come with animations.
I have "one" issue with this image, The thing about the sky is "sad but true" I think it could stand to be "blackened", though it's all in the "eye of the beholder". Sorry rarely do I get a chance to make metallica puns. Good image
