Etude with a lemon
Corel Bryce 5. Modeling: a vase, a saucer with a lemon in 3dsMax, a knife and flowers in Bryce. Map height for modeling prepared in Corel Draw and Photo Paint. Texture slice of lemon is my photo. Other textures is procedural. In a scene 3 Radial Light, 25 Spot Light (the one is with soft shadows 10%), 1 Round Parallel Light (to create the effect of radiosity). Thanks for your comments.

Excellent modelling. The soft shadows are just right. The only thing I see that could be changed is the green colour of flower's leaves. I think the melancholy comes from the flowers that are sunk very deep into the vase. Good work!

To me this appears as a very melancholy piece. the modeling, texturing, and lighting are all very good.
