This must be a scene from a story. Good use of a photographic sky. We might miss some shadows but since this scene is a mix between reality and fairy, this is not an issue. Without dark shadows, the dragon doesn't look so frightful and the scolding cannot be violent. This artwork gives us much stuff to make up a story. What is happening, what happened before, what will happen next. Dragon wings are very nicely aligned with the trees.

In a sense I agree David... This story line actually was a series I did on renderosity BACK in the DAY.. And yes there is a Lecture going on.. The first series of pics were kalesha scolding the dragon for eating the Kings Goats.. In this last pic Its changed... In MY STORY. THe Dragon and the Witch are as one... So who is who..?
Interesting scene. Good but I feel it is somewhat flattened by either the lighting or a lack of shadow/contrast. Ceartainly it has a story book fairy tale look about it - which suits the subject matter very well. However, what does it all mean? I am puzzeled. The decription does not enlighten me. Maybe I am being dense? The dragon is delievering this lecture - from the decription?
