Ice and Fire

Brycelightening Never used that, always fancied having a go, assumed it wouldn't work. Amazed to hear you can use it over the internet (broadband?). We don't have that here - yet... 53votes to go. Fingers crossed etc. Looked at the new picture, a marked improvement, always think a bit of orange/red livens things up a bit - thanks for dropping the info in on the supernova, might have a look at that once the processor is free!

volume = cool I was playing with surface for a long time and not seeing the results i wanted so now im creating all my materials in volume except for terrain. Brycelightning cuts rendering time in half. Find someone with good graphics card and use a brodband connection on each. Oh yeah and that fuzzy stuff its supernova shock wave with white in combination instead of pink. PS. In my updated version I used your plasma as well really, really nice work on the plasma David.

Mmm volumetric... Think the pale fuzzy eliptical material (so hard to describe abstract stuff) has turned out really well - never do a great deal with vol materials because of the render time - bit it is can be worth the effort (as you have demonstrated) - can fake it sometimes with fuzzy effect - sometimes... Thanks for the credit for the fire, been off ill these last couple of days so I've put some more stuff up there if you want to take a look.

forgot something This is also my second image using Bryce5. I also tweaked many of the textures. I liked it alot so I put it out on the web, but one thing bugged me so I sat at my comp last night and said it needs more. So I do have and updated version if u would like it just email me and ill send it to you.
