Procedural Hot Gas and Moon Rock

Made with Bryce

A test piece for an ongoing project between Horo and myself to create a "realistic" hdri nebula background and light sources. This hdr has been passed back and forth between us and tinkered with. I've added some things in the foreground for a bit of interest. Render time 3 minutes 23 sec.

STKydd - there are four tutorials that come with Bryce 7. Each one describes a different method to create - or rather fake - an HDRI in Bryce.

Thank you! Well, this render only took a few minutes, but the render time for the hdri background elements - without even taking into account the time spent in compositing it - is well over 24 hours of render time. The advantage with the hdri is that this has to be done made once, and it can be reused again and again.

I think this is probably one of your best space renders, and only 3 minutes to render !
