Reading Room

Made with Bryce

Done with Bryce 6.3 with regular AA. I think I am going to quit on these type of scenes. I spent an unbelievable amount of time on this and I'm still not happy with it at all. 1024x768

Horo, I agree. But, I did use regular AA. I had the render set so it will show when it is done, and that popped up when the render was complete. I have no idea of went wrong. I've been having some computer problems that might have caused this look. Thanks for your comments all of you. I appreciate every comment.

Reality is complex. Even the simplest things are incredibly complex when you examine them closely enough. I think you should keep at it. I am unsure as to why you are unhappy with it. If you want to go for a different lighting there are several means depending on the version you are working with. Keep up the excellent work.

Gary, something went awry here. It does appear partly non-antialiased, even not rendered completely. Look at the window at right and follow that line to the pictures on the wall and you see what I mean. Otherwise, it's such a nice "Rebel", so full of details. Please do not quit doing that sort of scenes. They are beautiful and I do envy you for your patience.

don't quit I'm with Adrian about anti-alias, but I found this kind of unfinished render (or the filter too) gives a pictorial touch to the scene. I love it. Maybe a figure to emphasize perspective...

I always enjoy your renders, the sheer complexity and attention to details is impressive, i could never do anything like this.

I think in potential this is a great picture. Only thing is it doesn't look anti-aliased at all. Looks weird, did you used some kind of filter? Properly rendered it would make a wonderfull interior. Very complex.
