This "evolved" as I went through a tutorial on creating abstract shapes with Cinema4D. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M33Dky-BIng][b]YouTube video[/b] [/url] This reminds me of a twisted pan by David Brinnen....not sure how he did it, but like the shape a lot, and no doubt inspired me at least subconsiously. I'll try importing the shape to Bryce & Carrara to see how it renders....I like to put shapes with un-natural materials in scenes with rough terrains. 1 sphere inside a torus, grouped, bent, twisted; 1 omni light inside, 1 omni above in front; 200 frames, 20 fps.
