Steel Street

Made with Bryce

Today I'd like to upload two more of my works made in 2003 (this year appeared very fruitful in terms of working in Bryce). In this picture I wanted to achieve more or less realism. There was no task for me here to make everything only in Bryce, thus people are used from Poser 4 and the cars are some freebees from the Internet. However, nearly all the textures are procedural, bitmap textures are only car numbers and billboard over the pizzeria.

Amazing scene with that many trees, cars and people. It appears to me that Gamma Correction was on when rendered. There are indeed minor points that could be improved upon. I fully appreciate that this is an old render. You were already a Bryce adept. This render deserves full marks.

Thank you Alexey and David! David, concerning the remake the idea is interesting. Although, I'll have to change not only the lights and the ladies' height, I can see here many other different errors. The remake will turn into a complete alteration of the scene... But, the idea itself, is interesting, as I have already said. Perhaps, I'll make not this but close in the plot another work....

Great work Sam! What a complex scene. I wonder if it would be worth remastering this in Bryce 7 Pro with the new lighting technology? Minor points, the women look a little bit tall from the perspective of the camera. If the viewer is in a car that puts the ladies bottoms almost at the height of a standard car roof. Even accounting for them being on the pavement, this still seems a little bit tall. Also I feel the DOF effect is a little bit strong. Possibly even redundant in this scene. Which has nothing to hide. As I said, minor points and not enough to make a dent in a well deserved 5/5

It is simply ingenious! In 2003 I had just learned how to create a sphere and a cylinder. :)
