Many fantastic things to discuss in this image. Great atmospherics. The terrains are very well modeled. Great work!
The mountainscape is grandiose, the atmosphere and clouds as well. I think there is a size issue with the trees. Those near the cabin look good to me, there are some farther right, i.e. farther away and I would suspect them to be smaller. The trees on the ridge at left appear gigantic and I don't think there would be any in nature. Ignoring these quibbles, this is a great render, merits full marks.
He he, thankyou for the comment,it is always good to have another perspective as i neither noticed the tree tops or the lack of snow on the building roof. the tree's are just instances and i obviously am not ofea with the settings yet as i just assumed i had used enough rotation to offset them, practice is needed i guess.
Impressive terrain work and haze transition with the sky/clouds. Planet added is a fine touch, lighting on the ground matches with how the planet is lit. Two things worth mentioning are the trees that do seem multi-replicated (judging by their top parts). Try to rotate them slightly more in random angle. If they are 2-dimensional faces instead of 3d objects, then you could rotate them sidways - left or right and taking this simple step you'll achieve even more natural look. The little house is good addition, just needs some snow on the roof, you know.. with all that snow around :) Oh, nevertheless I'm being picky in a way, truth is this is top vote!
