Cthulhu rising on a wooden base
The model used from this scene http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=5172 Rendered with TA optimised radial lighting gel as described in recent tutorials http://www.youtube.com/user/davidbrinnen/videos?flow=grid&view=0 Cleaned up a few pixels (about 10) with PSP8. BTW, today, both Horo and my own store is on a 50% sale. http://www.daz3d.com/shop/horo/ http://www.daz3d.com/shop/david-brinnen/ And probably there will be some kind of "catch up" at the end of the month - there usually is. And we have the anaglyph product out today too... So there's some news.

- Thank you Aley and Rashad for your kind remarks. But I don't know what you mean, Cthulhu is a fine figure of an ancient evil and besides, is entitled to look a bit frumpy after his rude awakening from eternal sleep.
- Right now my jaw is on the floor so when you get done being amazing I'll pick it up and have the doctors re-attach it. Perfect metallic finish, using the curvature to help bring out contour and detail is fascinating. Looks professional. Wonderful work! Ugly darned beast, I mean wow...that thing is uuuugly!
* Excellent lighting and materials.
- Thank you. As it happens, I put the name of the product in, this is true this is not the "rising" pose. I see the issues with the curvature filtering... it would be nice to have that smoothing fix...
- Very nicely presented Cthulhu. Nice stand, too. Though the chap doesn't actually look as if it were rising. Makes a rather depressed impression on me. Top marks anyway. Lighting is impeccable.
