Interesting shapes. I also have Hex but all I've accomplished so far is a sphere and a cube. Interesting shapes. Good idea with the bump on the floor. If there is noise, it cannot be detected.
The lighting is great. Though I am not sure, if you could have similar results with dome or fill light. ;-) The shapes are amazing. I have experimented with Hexagon lately and I think it is beast, hard to tame.
