Made with Bryce

Just a change from my normal stuff. All Bryce 7 except background. Only light source is from the HDR background image.

Thanks rashadcarter1, you're very kind.

Looks very much like real life. Excellent marriage of photo and cg rendering!

Thanks David and STKydd. It's about the closest I've got to looking like a photo. I've always liked the idea of computers being able to create photo-realistic images.

Well done , i mistook this for a photograph at first.

Very nice results, at a glance, it looks like a photograph. 5/5

Thanks very much Horo.

Done.

StuartB4Archived

Hi Horo. Maybe the Misc section if possible.

HoroArchived

Well, Still Lifes is not completely wrong. Where would you like to move it? I could try, but I'm not sure I can.

StuartB4Archived

@Horo: Good guess about the HDRI it is indeed.

StuartB4Archived

Just realized I put it in the wrong category. Sorry, any chance of it being moved or should I delete it and place it in the correct place.

I like the camera position. Who's watching here, a toddler or a dog? Great modeling. This is a render with natural light, the Beverly Hills Sunny probe by Keith Bruns was used, I reckon. @slepalex - no, probe resolution does not influence light. Shadows suffer banding, even with a high quality setting. A low quality setting and soft IBL shadows give better results but at the penalty of very long render times. I think Stuart found a very good compromise.

* It more likely city landscape, than still life. Excellent Bryce modeling and good light! There can be resolution of HDRI to make more to receive softer shadows?
