It is only an impression Collision detection is something that Bryce does not have [except to a limited degree if you know how to use "Random Replicate" properly]. So these squirmy things are born out of the "Matrix". Hence there are no eggs. The Spiral gold thing [the mother] was created with the aid of the KPT3 Bryce Plug-in ["Twirl" Module]. As you know that Plug-in [and others] was created by the same team who created Bryce [up to Bryce 4] and it still works with 7.1 today! [but it is only 8-bit]. I have had it for over a decade and i have used it for all kinds of things. Now i hardly ever use it. I think the golden DMO needs more smoothing to get rid of the jagged ridges [visible at some places].
