I like a lot of things here, but agree with both of you. The scene looks a bit flat. But I think, it is possible to make a sunset with more shadow, though I cannot give the ultimate hint, how to do that :-(

Yeah the lighting didn't generate much shadows.. its not like I disabled shadows or something, its the sun position. I uploaded a second take on the daytime so you may like that one better.
EDIT: Wow seems like I can only posts if I add a title!! Didn't know that haha.
