Mountain lake, Vue version
An attempt to recreate the earlier scene I uploaded, this time with Vue 10. This piece of software scares the sh*t out of me... looks so good and it's so simple to make a scene. Also done in desktop ratio so it can be used as a nice background. ;)

Nice! Overall it does look more like I assume your imagination pictured it. I don;t use Vue so I cannot comment of the technicalities, still I like what I see.
Yeah its kind of an artistic remark.. although if you look at the right shore of that mountain there is grass material. I just covered most of it with trees.
Excatly. The mountain in the background on the left side has nice trees, but the ground is a bit uniform. I would use a grass material, because it reminds me of the lochs in scotland, but of course it is the decision of the artist.
You mean the cliffs in the mountains? I made another version but haven't posted it for the sake of repetition...
The foreground, especially the grass looks very convincing. Well done. I am a bit less happy with the background mountains. The trees on them look nice, but the ground looks too uniform.
