Creepy Trees
After an idea by David Brinnen. The Creepy Trees are from Lisa's Botanicals from DAZ 3D. I introduced some transparency to the material of the 24 trees. The light source was made visible with a volumetric sphere and it has 5% soft shadows. The fog sphere after Dan Whiteside surrounds the scene and a candle with 5% soft shadows in the lantern sheds some warm light. Rendered premium with soft shadows and 9 rpp in a mere 56 hours.

I really like this. Would'nt want to be there alone. 56 hours, wow, you are more patient than me Horo. Worth the wait though.
Thank you! As a piece of art, it wasn't worth the wait of 2-1/3 days but as an experiment, it was worth it.
* In this one, I like the way the moon is rising from the ground and the light rays looks better to me. Some creepy trees for a good creepy scene! Terrific and technical effects here Horo. Five stars.
