Three identical terrains with different resolutions (4096, 2048, 1024) from the High-Resolution Terrain Set 3 (http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-1-pro-high-resolution-terrains-set-3) and materials (from the set) at the same location. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI which is included in the set, the key light is provided by the sun.

Thank you. The HDRIs I made myself, photographing spherical panoramas (like the one above, about 72 photos from 1/8 to 1/4000 seconds with f/8, f/16 and f/22), some from Bryce renders (needs several renders with different light settings). However, many people find nice free HDRIs at https://hdrihaven.com/.
