Sky and ambient light by an HDRI which is included in the set, the key light is provided by the sun.

Ah, you put your finger on the sore spot: missing vegetation. The only excuse I have is that I struggled to get to grips with terrains which, in the past, were notoriously weak.
Lots of stuff going on with this terrain material. This is one shot that would definitely benefit from some 3d vegetation. But as always, these terrains are spectacular!
