Three identical terrains with different resolutions (4096, 2048, 1024) from the High-Resolution Terrain Set 4 (http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-1-pro-high-resolution-terrains-set-4) and materials (from the set) at the same location. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI which is included in the set, the key light is provided by the sun. The flock of birds are from C.Tippetts.

Thank you. Exactly! If the 2D-Face is turned away from the camera, you also get some depth: birds nearer and a bit farther away.
* Very impressively turned sea foam! By the way, I also downloaded these birds. I think we need a little bit tilted 2D Face to the camera. So it will be more natural.
