Mountain river

The artist is seldom completely satisfied with the work but there is a time when enough effort went into it. The artist may still see room for improvement but the beholder is fascinated by the impeccable artwork.

* Thank you, Horo. In fact, I did not make much effort to create this work. This happened spontaneously as a result of an experiment with materials for foreground mountains. Perhaps the role was played by the fact that trees, stones, background mountains, atmosphere, etc. were created earlier, which I only slightly changed. Or maybe I already got some experience. But sometimes experience and the availability of ready-made objects help a little. Sometimes you suffer, as a fish caught on a hook beating on ice, but still you are not satisfied with the result. *** I do not know how Google translated the Russian proverb "to fight like a fish on ice". :-)

This is a very beautiful scene. The foreground and middle-ground with the vegetation and the rocks very detailed and the mountains in the back have just the right amount of haze in front of them.
