Foggy swamp
Hmm, what can I say, was some work I did about 2 days ago, but wasn't sure if it was complete or not. But now I believe it is complete, can't seem to fit anything more into it =?

Nice colours and misting and the water is very good. I'm not sure about the tree trunks, I think Horo's suggestion about using terrains might be worth a try, the trunks created by the tree editor tend to have odd knuckles in them and be a bit too smoothe around the circumference. Another thing you might experiment with if your feeling adventurious is leaf material like using bumpy sparse random paths to create a veined look - only subtle changes - just if you feel like tweeking. The atmosphere is very good with this one.
Trees Very convincing. If you don't sell it as swamp but as a lake with high water after much of rain -- as the weather suggests -- even more convincing. I like the perspective of the tree trunks. Since they are in the shadow, they seem good enough to me. Have you tried to make tree trunks with a terrain? I think in my ?Hardwood? the trees are not so bad.
About water I thought the water was better this way, it's a more teal colour than blue, and in swamps water never tends to be clear or anything. I like the outcome of the water, but one thing which I didn't seem to like was the trees. Trees are an annoying thing to create(and you can clearly see those trees are triplets!), and I don't like the outcome of the trees too much.
nono its just right!! its better this way
Very peaceful... Youir work amazes me. This is incredible! The only thing I can find wrong is that the water is too blue.
