Middle- and background terrains are actually similar, except for scaling. Below the water plane is the ground plane with the same material as the terrains. Algae and eddies came into the water somewhat by surprise. The water doesn't look as being very healthy to swimm in.

Water You might be right. I'm using the german version of Bryce 5 and the material names seldom translate to the correct names in english. The water material is right from the presets: row 3 column 1. The A column names it Waves13. The water material came in randomly when I added the plane. Without your comment, I wouldn't have cared to find out, which one it is. Now I've learned something -- Thanks!
