The terrain was cut-out from the complete LDEM_0128 of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter (LRO-LOLA) and shows the canyon of the Vallis Alpes with parts of the Montes Alpes as viewed from the Mare Frigoris in south-western direction, its height is here superelevated. The material is from "High Resolution Terrains 3", sky and ambient light by the "SunSet" HDRI from "HDRI Enhanced Skies" (both available at Daz 3D) and the key light by the sun. A surreal depicted real moonscape.
