Round Lake

FROM THE COMMUNITY COLLECTION

Round Lake

Made with Bryce

For the fore- and middleground terrains, David's ?Bluebell Hills? was used as a base, but was considerably modified. The flowers that look as if they were made in TerraGen are due to a spot below the terrain. The algae in the lake come from an embeded, very strong spherical light source. The bushes in the foreground are compressed trees, credits go to Tonkin for that idea.

Snow Thanks for your comments, LitoNico. The fake flowers are more ment to encourage experimenting with that kind of light usage. The snow material is indeed the classic Bryce snow, but I changed the colour in the DTE and adjusted diffusion and ambience to make it shine less and thus appear more distant.

backround I think the backround and far-middleground are ery good, but I'm not do sure about the fake flowers. the bushes in the foreground are good too. I like the snow material for the backround too. is that a preset?
