Starfield

Made with Bryce

Essentially the same as ?Blue Planet?. The stars were generated with Bryce and blended into the starless pic with PS. Because of the lens doing the planet, rendering a mask was not possible. There was a lot of handywork with PS to put on the stars, otherwise it is still 100% Bryce. Now the stars don't look as if seen from the restaurant at the end of the universe anymore.

I do like this pic, think maybe there will soon be enough content to have a dedicated space section on the site? You asked some questions. The whispy clouds I believe you were refering to those were made with a variation of the azathoth plasma material and the purple glow was done by setting the atmosphere colour to 10 7 0 respectively in the sky lab and putting in 70% of white haze into the sky setting. This pic is looking good - but the stars still seem a little flat - so I'll say 4 for now and await further developments ;oP
