Unicorn at Moon Rise

Made with Bryce

This Unicorn that I created in Poser 4 was imported to my Bryce 5 moonscene. I thought the blueish look was kind of cool...I do like the Unicorn too. Any comments are welcome!

Moon Hi Horo, Everything you see in this image has been created in Bryce 5 and yes, the moon too...you can see the clouds vagely in front of the moon! The only thing that is not Bryce 5 is the horse, I imported it from Poser 4. But everything else in the image is Bryce 5, not editing afterwards in Photoshop or nothing, just rendered and that's the result of it. Thank you so much for your tips and comments...it's much appreciated! Ann

You're on your way Ann75. I didn't notice at first that you used the full moon from the sky lab and was about to suggest its use. I missed it at first, because it is odd: If clouds partly cover it, there is some mist in the air and the edges of the moon shoulsd smear a bit I am not sure whether you really used that moon because it looks as if the lower left part of it dips into the ocean. It might also be that sort of illusion I experienced myself before. I'd appreciate if you could clarify this Otherwise, it is a strong picture that appeals to me. The palm trees look good, a noticable improvement over your last use of trees. Thanks go to David for his valued tip. That's something I'll have to try out myself.

Is the thought of a unicorn a real thought? Have you considered Half Global Lighting? You can download it at Bryce5.net - very useful for giving that extra moddeling realism - but also a bit slow to render. Would pick out those shadow regions nicely it it were done with subtlety.
